AG support GHD in Christchurch Rebuild work
A three man team has recently travelled to Christchurch, New Zealand to assist GHD in design work as part of the infrastructure reconstruction following the multiple earthquakes suffered since last September.
GHD have recently been confirmed as one of the Lead Design Organisations supporting the SCIRT Alliance tasked by the New Zealand Government and Christchurch City Council to be responsible for the reconstruction efforts.
The team will be working on wastewater, water, stormwater and road reconstruction activities. Approximately 30,000 households are still without sewerage and a 5 year programme is underway to re-establish the infrastructure to an acceptable standard.
