South Harris Regional Water Scheme
The project involved providing a new Regional Water Treatment scheme for the challenging environment of South Harris.
Including the construction of a new Water Treatment Works, Service Reservoirs and approximately 40km of new water main, Allen, Gordon provided design, supervision and Project Management services to Scottish Water (and its predecessor the North of Scotland Water Authority).
The final project value was almost £4 millon and was one of the first projects by the water industry in the North of Scotland which utilised the NEC suite of contracts.
